Who is responsible for your information
MUEL LONDON LIMITED, trading as MUEL London, company number 15412610, is the controller of personal information it handles for website enquiries and related business communications. For privacy questions or requests, email info@muellondon.com.
Information you provide
When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, business details, message and attachments. Please include only information relevant to your enquiry and avoid sending sensitive personal information.
The contact form on this website prepares a draft in your email application. The website does not submit the form to a server or save its contents in browser storage. MUEL receives your message only when you send it. Your email provider may store the draft under its own policies.
Providing information is voluntary. We need sufficient contact and enquiry details to respond, but using this website does not oblige you to enter into a contract.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use enquiry information to respond, assess potential work and manage business relationships. For ordinary business enquiries, the relevant basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective clients and partners. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you personally, or we perform that contract, the basis is contractual necessity. Where processing is required by law, the basis is legal obligation. Consent, if requested for a separate purpose, may be withdrawn without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Service providers and sharing
Enquiries are handled by email. We do not currently use a customer relationship management system or routinely share enquiry information with brand partners. Our contact email address is info@muellondon.com. We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to obtain professional advice or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Any new routine sharing will be explained before it begins.
Retention
We retain enquiry information for as long as it is needed to respond and manage any resulting business relationship. We determine the period by considering whether discussions are still active, whether follow-up is reasonably expected, and whether records are needed for legal obligations or claims. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, it should be deleted. Email-provider backup copies may remain for the provider’s applicable retention period.
International processing
Our planned use of iCloud Mail may involve processing outside the UK. Apple’s published privacy policy describes international processing, including in the United States, and its use of standard contractual clauses for UK personal data. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for details and how to request information about its safeguards. We will update this notice if our providers or transfer arrangements change.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and have an absolute right to object to use for direct marketing. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions.
Contact us using the email above to exercise a right. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. Requests are normally answered within one month; where the law permits additional time, we will explain why.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not need to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to address your concern.
Website technologies
The current website code does not include analytics, advertising trackers or automated decisions about visitors. Read our Cookie Policy for details. The domain is registered through GoDaddy. The public website hosting arrangement has not yet been selected or verified. This notice will be updated with any hosting-related technical data processing before public launch.
Updates
We will revise this notice when our processing changes and provide further information before using personal information for a new purpose where required.
